Abdul Waheed Rajper has been working with Pakistan’s print and electronic media since 2008. During these 12 years, he has been associated with different reputed media houses as Reporter. He began his professional journey with Daily Awami Awaz, afterwards, moved to electronic media and joined Sindh TV News (Sindhi Language) as Reporter and gained valuable experience of electronic media reporting.

in 2015, he joined largest circulated Sindhi Daily Kawish as reporter and filed numerous exclusive stories for the paper, but later on he decided to move back to electronic media and this time joined Urdu language 24/7 News Channel Abb Takk in 2018 and soon after that he got the opportunity to work for Pakistan’s very first HD Plus TV channel 92 News as reporter.

Waheed has also been very active in Journalists forums since the inception of his professional career. He was recently elected as Treasurer of Karachi Press Club for the year 2021. Before that he was elected as Member Governing Body twice in 2019 and 2020.

Previously he was elected Member Governing Body of Karachi Union of Journalists Dastoor (KUJ-D) in 2014.

He is also active member of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP).
