The President of Karachi Press Club, Saeed Sarbazi, Secretary Shaib Ahmed, and other officials have extended their congratulations to Sharjeel Inam Memon on his appointment as the Information Minister of Sindh. In their statement, the officials of Karachi Press Club mentioned that Sharjeel Inam Memon is an extremely dynamic personality, and in the past, he has taken serious steps to address the issues of Karachi Press Club and journalists. President Karachi Press Club, Saeed Sarbazi, expressed hope that under the leadership of Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Ministry of Information Sindh will safeguard press freedom and strengthen the relationship between the media and the provincial government.
He expressed confidence that during Sharjeel Inam Memon’s tenure, the interests of the media will be protected, and efforts will be made for the development of the media in the province. Secretary Shoaib Ahmed stated that Sharjeel Inam Memon’s efforts to increase the annual grant of Karachi Press Club are commendable, and it is hoped that he will ensure an increase in grants for the Karachi Press Club this year as well. He said that we hope Sharjeel Inam Memon will take note of the crisis of ongoing salaries in media houses and will work with Karachi Press Club to resolve the issues of journalists.
