The Information Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Mazhar Saeed Shah, visited the Karachi Press Club. He was warmly welcomed by Secretary Muhammad Sohail Afzal Khan, Joint Secretary Muhammad Munsif, Governing Body Member Mona Siddiqui, Manzoor Sheikh, Hafeez Baloch, and Press Club Spokesperson Abdul Rehman, along with senior journalist Ehtesham Mufti.
Expressing his gratitude to the Press Club Secretary and members, Mazhar Saeed Shah praised the Karachi Press Club as a symbol of freedom of expression and a guardian of journalistic values. He acknowledged the Club’s role in strengthening both journalism and democracy in the country.
Paying tribute to Karachi’s journalists, he highlighted their professionalism during the Pakistan-India war, maintaining journalistic integrity in challenging times—a commitment recognized and appreciated globally.
