A dignified ceremony was held at Karachi Press Club to mark the first anniversary of Pakistan’s historic victory in “Maarka-e-Haq.” The event also included a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the occasion.
The gathering aimed to pay tribute to the sacrifices made for the country’s sovereignty and dignity, appreciate the services of the Pakistan Armed Forces, and highlight the responsible and positive role of the national media during the conflict.
President Fazil Jamili and Secretary Aslam Khan stated that “Maarka-e-Haq” is not just a battle but a powerful story of national pride, unity, and patriotism. They praised the Armed Forces for their unmatched sacrifices and acknowledged the media’s responsible role in presenting facts and countering propaganda.
Speakers emphasized that Pakistani journalists, reporters, camera operators, and media workers played a key role in strengthening the national narrative, boosting public morale, and presenting Pakistan’s stance at the global level.
The event was attended by senior office bearers, members of the governing body, veterans, journalists, and a large number of KPC members. Participants paid tribute to martyrs, raised slogans in support of the Armed Forces and media workers, and offered prayers for the country’s peace and prosperity.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment that the nation stands united for the protection of Pakistan’s sovereignty, and the spirit of “Maarka-e-Haq” will remain a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unity.
