Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr. Niaz Akhtar, Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat, Vice Chancellor Iqra University Prof. Dr. Wasim Qazi, and Vice Chancellor Dawood (Diwan) University visited Karachi Press Club.
A detailed and meaningful discussion was held on university funding, promotion of research, higher education priorities, and the challenges faced by universities. Participants also shared valuable suggestions to improve academic quality and encourage innovation in research.
Later, President Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamil and Joint Secretary Farooq Sami presented the distinguished guests with Sindh’s traditional Ajrak and an honorary shield of Karachi Press Club.
