President Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamili, Secretary Aslam Khan, and the Governing Body congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the Local Government Reporters Association (LGRA), calling the organization’s first elections a positive example of democratic values within the journalistic community.
In an official statement, KPC office bearers said that providing local government reporters with a strong and organized platform is an encouraging development that will help highlight civic issues, local government affairs, and public concerns more effectively.
Karachi Press Club extended best wishes to newly elected President Suleman Saadat Khan, General Secretary Muhammad Ali Hafeez, and other office bearers, expressing hope that the new leadership will work actively for journalists’ rights, professional welfare, and the resolution of industry-related issues.
The KPC leadership also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation among journalistic organizations to promote press freedom, professional values, and effective coverage of important city issues.
