Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah visited the Karachi Press Club and met with President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Aslam Khan, members of the Governing Body and senior journalists.
Nasir Hussain Shah announced that balloting for plots for new KPC members would be held in the first week of August, assuring that the longstanding issues of the journalist community would be addressed on a priority basis.
He said the Sindh Government would continue supporting the welfare of journalists and resolving their issues.
KPC President Fazil Jamili and Secretary Aslam Khan welcomed the minister’s announcement and expressed appreciation to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for their continued attention to the issues of Karachi Press Club and the journalist community.
