Karachi, Pakistan – Director General of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Sindh, Zulfiqar Sheikh, along with Deputy Director BISP Haripur, Zubair Qureshi, visited the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Tuesday. They were warmly welcomed by KPC President Fazil Jamili and Joint Secretary Muhammad Munsif.
During the visit, Zubair Qureshi expressed his delight at being at Karachi Press Club, highlighting that journalism has always reflected a civilized society. He praised KPC for upholding the values of independent and unbiased journalism, and appreciated its role in the struggle for freedom of expression and democracy.
Senior journalist Saeed Sarbazi was also present at the meeting. Following a luncheon, the KPC President and Joint Secretary honored Zubair Qureshi with the traditional Sindhi Ajrak, symbolizing Sindh’s rich cultural heritage.
