A book titled “Pale-stine: Two Years of Tufan Al-Aqsa” was launched at the Karachi Press Club today, with journalists, academics, intellectuals, writers and social figures in attendance.

Author Muhammad Usama Shafiq said the book documents major developments related to Palestine from October 7, 2023, to October 7, 2025, including public protests, political responses and changing perspectives in Western societies.

Speakers highlighted the courage of Ga-za’s journalists, who continued reporting under extremely difficult conditions, using their cameras, voices and writing to document events and bear witness to history.

KPC President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Aslam Khan, Prof. Dr. Tahir Masood, Prof. Dr. Tauseef Ahmed Khan, Prof. Dr. Nigar Sajjad Zaheer and Prof. Syed Shahid Hashmi, among other distinguished guests, attended the ceremony.

The book aims to preserve the story of the Ga-za tra-gedy, global response and the vital role of journalism as a record for future generations.
