The governing body of the Karachi Press Club has announced its decision to grant lifetime membership to Muhammad Ahmad Shah, President of the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, former interim Information Minister, and a recipient of the Presidential Award. This honor recognizes his remarkable contributions to literature, culture, and the arts.
The Karachi Press Club’s governing body commended Ahmad Shah for his efforts in introducing the Arts Council on a global platform and promoting Pakistani culture, arts, and literature. His notable services to the journalism community were also highlighted.
Additionally, the governing body approved honorary memberships for other distinguished individuals, including former Head of Mass Communication at Karachi University Dr. Rafia Taj, poet Fatima Hassan, renowned naat reciter Tabinda Lari, Parks Director Nadeem Hanif, and former Federal Interim Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi.
