The Karachi Press Club (KPC) marked Independence Day with great enthusiasm, joined by Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui and former Pakistan cricket captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, along with KPC members and their families.
The celebrations featured a flag-hoisting ceremony, the national anthem, and the cutting of a 50-pound cake. Special prayers were also offered for national security, development, and prosperity.
Distinguished guests, including FPCCI Senior Vice President Saqib Mughal and Member National Assembly Ikhtiar Baig, attended the event. They were warmly received by KPC President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Muhammad Sohail Afzal Khan, and members of the governing body. Guests were honored with Sindhi Ajrak and floral bouquets, reflecting Sindh’s rich cultural traditions.
