On November 30, 2024, the Karachi Press Club organized a grand Family Gala for its members and their families, attracting over 6,000 attendees. The event was packed with activities for all age groups, ensuring fun and engagement for everyone.
Highlights of the Family Gala included:
- Children’s Competitions: Sports, debates, recitation, Na’at, drawing, and essay writing.
- Academic Excellence Awards: Prizes for students achieving A-1 grades in matric and intermediate exams.
- Women’s Activities: Cooking, makeup tutorials, salad cutting contests, and quizzes.
- Food Court & Stalls: A variety of food and gift stalls captivated the audience.
- Entertainment: Comedy performances by Hanif Raja, Zakir Mastana, and Irfan Malik, an appearance by Javed Sheikh, and a mesmerizing Qawwali session.
- Corporate & Business Participation: Strong representation from the corporate sector enhanced the event’s vibrancy.
KPC President Saeed Sarbazi, Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, and Organizing Committee Head Muhammad Mansaf expressed their gratitude to the guests, sponsors, and corporate partners for their support. They also praised the committees for their exceptional efforts in making the event a resounding success.
