A dawat iftar was organized in honor of senior journalists from the city, government officials, diplomats, political and social figures, corporate sector and print and electronic media at a local hotel.

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri said that Karachi Press Club is like a second home for me. I always feel happy by participating in Press Club events. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Karachi Press Club President Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary Shoaib Ahmed. Yes, Governor Sindh said that the press and politicians are side by side, we should take the press club as a think tank, Kamran Khan Tesori said that I did not participate as a governor but as a member of the press club. He said that IT University has been established in the Governor House, IT courses are going to be started in other districts of Sindh after Karachi. The Sindh government is well aware of the problems of journalists and is trying to solve them together with the Karachi Press Club. Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the Pakistan People’s Party has always raised its voice against the problems faced by journalists, martyr Ms. Benazir. Ended the black laws imposed on journalists during Bhutto’s regime. The efforts of the journalism community for stability are commendable.
President Karachi Press Club Saeed Sarbazi welcomed the guests and said that the organization of Iftar dinner by Karachi Press Club in honor of the dignitaries of the city has now become a tradition.
