A delegation from the US Consulate General in Karachi visited the Karachi Press Club today. Led by Margaret McLeod, Hindi-Urdu Foreign Language Spokesperson, the delegation included Reva Gupta, Spokesperson of the US Consulate General Karachi, and Saif Jaskani, Press & Media Specialist at the US Consulate General Karachi.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the governing body of the Karachi Press Club, including President Fazil Jamili and Secretary Sohail Afzal Khan. During the visit, the delegation expressed their happiness to be at the Karachi Press Club, commending the historic building and impressive arrangements.
As part of the visit, the guests were presented with gifts of Sindhi Ajrak, reflecting Sindh’s rich cultural heritage. The delegation also toured the club’s facilities including the digital studio, women’s complex, fitness club, and Athar Ali Hashmi Terrace.
The visit was attended by several notable members of the Karachi Press Club including former Secretary and Senior Journalist Maqsood Ahmed Yousufi, Joint Secretary Muhammad Munsif, Senior Journalist Naimat Khan, Member Governing Body Mona Siddiqui, Qazi Muhammad Yasir, Muhammad Farooq, Hafeez Baloch, Manzoor Sheikh, and others.
