On June 4th, the Skills Development Committee of the Karachi Press Club organized a workshop focused on budget reporting. This event aimed to enhance the skills of journalists in accurately interpreting and reporting on budget data.
The workshop featured esteemed speakers, including economist Dr. Qaiser Bengali, senior commerce reporter from Express Tribune Salman Siddiqui, and senior commerce reporter from Samaa News Rizwan Amir. These experts provided the participants with a detailed briefing on budget statistics and imparted essential reporting techniques.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the President and Secretary of the Karachi Press Club honored the trainers with club souvenirs and distributed certificates among the participants, acknowledging their dedication to professional development.
