Once again, the Karachi Press Club (KPC) became a hub of facilitation for journalists, as the Motor Registration Camp organized by the Sindh Excise & Taxation Department with the cooperation of the Government of Sindh set a new benchmark in professional service and commitment to lawfulness.
Journalists showed exceptional interest in obtaining new security-featured vehicle number plates. The camp also provided on-the-spot assistance for name transfers, smart registration cards, and other important motor registration matters.
Over 600 members benefited from the two-day camp — a figure that reflects not just statistics but the true spirit of rule of law.
KPC President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Sohail Afzal Khan, and Governing Body member Hafeez Baloch highlighted that the Press Club is not only a center of journalism but also a symbol of civic awareness and legal compliance. They added that the large turnout is proof that journalists are fully aware of their responsibilities.
They praised the special interest taken by Sindh Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla, whose support made the camp possible, saving working journalists valuable time. The Governing Body expressed hope that the Sindh government will continue to provide such journalist-friendly services in the future, enabling the media community to be not only the voice of the people but also a living example of responsible citizenship.
