The Karachi Press Club strongly condemned the kidnapping of Geo News Executive Producer Zubair Anjum.
Demanding immediate notice from Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, Bilawal Bhutto, Chief Minister Sindh and IG Sindh.
Karachi Press Club has strongly condemned the abduction of Geo News Executive Producer and member of Karachi Press Club Zubair Anjum from his house at gunpoint and transferring him to an unknown location, calling this process a restriction on freedom of expression and It has been described as an attempt to hold the freedom of the press hostage.
Karachi Press Club President Saeed Sarbazi, Secretary Shoaib Ahmad and members of Majlis-e-Amila termed the incidents of abducting Geo News Executive Producer Zubair Anjum from his house at night without a warrant and harassing his family members as state terrorism. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, Chief Minister Sindh and IG Sindh have been demanded to take immediate notice of this incident and to recover Zubair Anjum immediately.
