The Karachi Press Club hosted its Family Gala on November 30, 2024, celebrating a remarkable milestone. For the first time, children of KPC members who achieved A-1 grades in this year’s matriculation and intermediate exams were honored with the Academic Excellence Award.
Out of the 14 awardees, seven were girls, showcasing exceptional academic brilliance. The ceremony featured the distribution of honorary shields, cash prizes of Rs. 10,000, and gifts by KPC President Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary Shoaib Ahmed. Parents were invited on stage to join their children in receiving the awards and were congratulated for their support and dedication.
Speaking at the event, President Saeed Sarbazi emphasized,
“The Karachi Press Club takes pride in organizing grand activities like the Family Gala for its members. Recognizing the achievements of these brilliant children is a moment of pride for us all, and we commend their parents for nurturing their success.”
Secretary Shoaib Ahmed added,
“KPC is our home, and sharing joy together strengthens our bond. Encouraging these young achievers and celebrating with their families is an honor for us. These bright minds will contribute to Pakistan’s prosperity, and we aim to continue recognizing excellence across all educational levels.”
Special thanks were extended to Karachi Gateway Terminal Limited (KGT) for their support in the awards. Representatives Kamal Siddiqi and Marline also distributed special gifts among the children.
