The Karachi Press Club (KPC) has honored Syed Afzal Hamid, Senior Vice Chairman of ABAD (Association of Builders and Developers), with Lifetime Membership. This recognition celebrates his contributions to strengthening ties between the media and the construction industry and his support for journalists’ welfare initiatives.
Under Syed Afzal Hamid’s collaboration, the renovation of the Karachi Press Club’s main gate and the construction of a new reception area are underway.
During the ceremony, KPC Secretary Shoaib Ahmed highlighted the positive impact of Afzal Hamid’s efforts in fostering trust between the media and the construction industry. He expressed hope for further progress in journalist housing societies with ABAD’s guidance and support.
Afzal Hamid expressed gratitude to KPC President Saeed Sarbazi, Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, and all office bearers for this honor. He emphasized the shared mission of ABAD and KPC in building infrastructure and shaping societal narratives.
The event concluded with the inauguration of the construction work on KPC’s new reception area.
