Under the leadership of President Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, a delegation from the Karachi Press Club visited Kutiyana Memon Hospital. The hospital is a significant blessing not only for the general public but also for the journalist community. Saeed Sarbazi and Shoaib Ahmed expressed their hope that the cooperation between Kutiyana Memon Hospital and the Karachi Press Club will continue in the future.

Saeed Sarbazi praised the hospital’s administration, led by Ahmed Chinoy, for transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility. He expressed deep gratitude to Aqeel Karim Dhedhi for providing free treatment to the members and their families of Karachi Press Club. The hospital offers all major medical facilities at minimal costs, providing substantial relief to the public during these challenging economic times.

The Karachi Press Club delegation, which included Health Committee Secretary Tufail Ahmed, PFUJ Dastoor Secretary General A.H. Khanzada, former KUJ Secretary Naimat Khan, Governing Body Member Shoaib Ahmed, NNI Bureau Chief Abdul Rahman, and senior members Abu Hassan, Javed Jay Ja, Dr. Akhtar Aziz, and Dr. Wajahatullah Wasti, visited Kutiyana Memon Hospital at the invitation of Chairman Ahmed Chinoy.

During the visit, Secretary Shoaib Ahmed highlighted the support initiated by Aqeel Karim Dhedhi in 2022, which began with a fund of 10 million rupees to provide free treatment to club members and their families. Over the past two years, this project has continued to offer comprehensive medical care to members and their families, thanks to Ahmed Chinoy’s dedication and efforts.

Chairman Ahmed Chinoy and Vice Chairman Saleem Roomi provided an overview of the hospital’s operations, noting that over 4,000 patients are checked daily, with more than 1,500 treated in the outpatient department. The hospital operates on a “no profit, no loss” basis, offering a wide range of medical services, including heart surgeries. Additionally, the hospital supports 180 registered thalassemia children, providing daily blood transfusions to 15 children.

The delegation also learned about the hospital’s transformation into a teaching hospital, with facilities like the Sindh Skill Lab and IT Department, and plans for digitalization. The hospital boasts four modern operation theaters, an ICU, and 13 emergency wards, along with a state-of-the-art laboratory. The visit concluded with a tour of the various departments, where the delegation appreciated the hospital’s comprehensive facilities and extended their thanks to Ahmed Chinoy and the entire hospital administration.
