The Karachi Press Club (KPC) has announced its decision to award Lifetime Membership to renowned journalist, researcher, author, poet, and former Director of the Quaid-e-Azam Academy, Khawaja Razi Haider, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to literature and academia.
Khawaja Razi Haider is a distinguished author who has written extensively on Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Pakistan Movement. His first book, “Quaid-e-Azam Ke 72 Saal,” was published during Jinnah’s centennial birth celebrations. Another notable work includes “Quaid-e-Azam Khutoot Ke Aaine Mein.” He also wrote the script for a film on Quaid-e-Azam and over 200 scripts for television focused on Jinnah and the Pakistan Movement.
Although initially a practicing journalist, Haider transitioned to academia in 1980 upon the advice of Professor Sharif Al Mujahid. He joined the Quaid-e-Azam Academy as a Research Scholar and served for 27 years, including as its Director in 2007. Additionally, he has served as a consultant at Sir Syed University.
Haider is also a celebrated poet, with three poetry collections published to date, further showcasing his versatility and passion for creative expression.
