KARACHI — Senior journalist Abul Hasanat, an editorial consultant with The Express Tribune and a former assistant editor at Dawn,passed away on Saturday following a short illness. He was 68.
Hasanat’s association with Dawn began in 1995 and ended in 2010 when he retired from the paper.
In a career spanning more than 40 years, he also worked for Morning News, Leader, and Saudi Gazette.
Dawn reported that he has left behind his wife, two daughters and a son.
